
The First Seminar on Internships: Training Programmes and Professional Openings was held Friday 29 June. It was organised by the Faculty of Economics and the University-Business Foundation of the University of Valencia.
The aim of this Seminar was on the one hand to provide relevant information to students to facilitate their choice of internships on Tuesday 3 July, and on the other hand to present the activities carried out in some professional fields related to the degrees offered by the Faculty.
The Seminar was also aimed at teachers of the Faculty who engage in academic tutor work. In this sense, another objective of the Seminar was to inform tutors about the different internships and programmes of activities available to the students of the Faculty.
The opening ceremony of the Seminar was attended by Isabel VÁZQUEZ NAVARRO (Vice-principal for Studies and Language Policy), Antonio ARACIL GARCÍA (Managing Director of the University-Business Foundation of Valencia), and the Dean of the Faculty, Vicent Soler i Marco.
Beatriz MOLINER VELÁZQUEZ (Coordinator of Internships of the Faculty of Economics) also participated in the Seminar. She described the different programmes of activities to develop in the internships.
The Seminar concluded with a round table discussion entitled “Professional activities of the degrees of the Faculty of Economics”, which was moderated by José Manuel PASTOR MONSÁLVEZ (Vice-dean for Internships and Relations with Business and Economy) and which counted on the participation of Marisa BAGUETTO (head of the Department of Training and Employment of the Professional Association of Tax Advisers of the Valencian Community), Pepa TERRADA SOLER (head of the Department of Guidance and Employment of the Professional Association of Economists of Valencia), Eduardo ANDREU (Member of the Professional Association of Qualified Financial and Economic Experts) and Ester CHUECA ADELL (Member of Protectur, Association of Tourism Professionals in the Valencian Community).
