The Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting, offered by the Faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia, has successfully renewed its certification by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), once again obtaining recognition for nine exemptions, the maximum number permitted under this international agreement.

The reaccreditation will be valid for five years, from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2030, and consolidates the degree as one of the leading qualifications in the field of accounting and finance at an international level.

The ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is one of the most prestigious and globally recognised professional bodies in the field of accounting, auditing and finance. Founded in 1904, it has over 257,900 members across 180 countries and works closely with universities and academic institutions to ensure that its training programmes meet the most demanding international standards.

The ACCA professional certification programme consists of 13 exams in total, so the recognition of nine exemptions represents a very significant advantage for students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting, as it enables them to make substantial progress towards obtaining this professional accreditation.
