Last Wednesday, 15th October, the Faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia held the welcome session for students enrolled in the International Double Degree programmes—an initiative that has been a success since its launch in 2000. The programme currently offers 14 international double degrees for the GIB, Business Administration (ADE), Economics, and BIA degrees, and it continues to strengthen its position as one of the most international initiatives of the Faculty.

Numerous incoming students participated in the event, coming from prestigious partner universities such as the University of Palermo (International Double Degree in Business and Intelligence Analytics), the University of Nantes (International Double Degrees in Business Administration and in Economics), as well as Hochschule Bremen, KEDGE Business School, Nottingham Trent University, and North Florida University (International Double Degrees in International Business).

During the session, the coordination team explained to the students the main aspects of the academic programme, including internships and the Final Degree Project, which they will need to complete over the course of their two-year stay at the University of Valencia.

The session concluded with a welcome reception, which provided the perfect opportunity for students to get to know one another, share their first impressions, and ask questions in a more informal setting. They also had the chance to interact closely with the mobility coordinators, who offered guidance and practical advice to help ease their academic and personal integration into the city of Valencia.

Through initiatives like this, the Faculty of Economics reaffirms its commitment to internationalisation and global education, promoting enriching learning experiences for both local and international students.
