More than 350 academics and marketing professionals will gather at the Universitat de València for the 33rd Edition of the International Congress of AEMARK, the Spanish Association of Academic and Professional Marketing

The Universitat de València will become the centre of marketing in Spain this week, hosting the international congress of the Spanish Association of Academic and Professional Marketing (AEMARK).

The 33rd Edition of this world congress will be held at the Faculty of Economics of the Universitat de València, where a total of 245 academic papers will be presented in 9 parallel sessions, 90% of which will be chaired by women.

More than 350 academics and professionals form Asia, North America, Latin America and Europe will participate in these congress meetings, which will include editors-in-chief of leading scientific journals: Prof. Dwivedi of International Journal of Information Management, Prof. Okumus of International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management and Prof. Viglia of Psychology & Marketing

One of the leading researchers and popularisers of leadership and marketing, Professor Jan-Benedict Steenkamp of the University of North Carolina will deliver one of the keynote lecture..

Valerie Zeithaml, one of the world’s leading experts in service marketing, also professor at the University of North Carolina, will give another of the conferences at this congress, which will also feature Jaime Aguiló, Vice-Presiedent and General Manager of EMEA Sur de ComScore, a leading media measurement and analysis company.

The Congress opens on Thursday 8th September at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània del Carmen, and the sessions will be held at the Faculty of Economics of the Universitat de València.
