Upcoming FORTHEM Campus Resilience, Life Quality and Demographic Change in Latvia

The FORTHEM Campus: Resilience, Life Quality and Demographic Change is the second of the FORTHEM Campuses, and will take place in Riga, hosted by the University of Latvia, during the second semester of the academic year 2021-2022.

You can apply now for the FORTHEM Campus, the number of places offered is 10. The deadline for submission of applications is 10 December at 23.59h. The activities will take place between February and June (second semester) of the academic year 2021-2022.

Requirements:

1.- To be enrolled in one of the following degrees at the University of Valencia both at the time of application and during the second semester of the academic year 2021-2022:

a) Faculty of Economics:

- Degree in Business Administration - 2nd and following academic years.

- Degree in International Business - 2nd and subsequent years

b) Faculty of Law:

- Degree in Law - 2nd and subsequent years

- Double Degree in Law/Criminology - 2nd and subsequent academic years

- Double Degree in Law/Political Science and Administration - 2nd and subsequent academic years

2.- Not having obtained an Erasmus mobility place for the academic year 2021-2022.

3.- Language: accreditation of a minimum level of B1 in English is required.  However, a level of B2 or equivalent is recommended.

You must attach, together with your application, the following documentation:

1) LANGUAGE CERTIFICATE

2) Copy of your ENROLMENT IN THIS COURSE 2021-2022

3) Copy of your AVERAGE SCORE FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR

The selection of candidates for undergraduate studies will be carried out by the International Relations and Cooperation Service, according to the average mark of the academic transcript of their degree at the end of the academic year 2020-21.

The selected students will be able to obtain the status of Erasmus students for the academic year 2021-22, with the prior agreement of their mobility coordinators.

The local FORTHEM office and the corresponding mobility coordinator will guide the process of the required formalities for the successful applicants (enrolment of international credits, completion of the Learning Agreement, Grant Agreement, application to the University of Latvia, etc.).

Compatibility with other Erasmus grants

Obtaining this grant will be compatible with applying for and eventually obtaining a subsequent Erasmus place, as long as the time limit of 12 months per study cycle is not exceeded, and as long as the mobility regulations of the corresponding degree programme allow it.
