On March 25, 2026, Espai Vives at the Universitat de València will host the seminar-workshop “Gender Equality in Norway: Policy, Welfare State and Legal Frames: Local Implications and Contemporary Challenges.” The event is organized by the Equality and Diversity Unit in collaboration with University of Agder (Norway), within the framework of the FORTHEM alliance, of which the Universitat de València is a member.
The workshop will feature Lee Michael Shults and Rasha Abdallah from the Centre for Gender and Equality at the University of Agder, who will share their experience in developing public gender equality policies and in implementing an intersectional perspective within the university context. The session aims to serve as a space for reflection and dialogue among those involved in mainstreaming equality policies, fostering the exchange of experiences and the analysis of current challenges.
