To carry out any operation using the telephone line assigned to the UV, you must connect to https://www.uv.es/elmeutelefonuv, from the UV local network or via VPN connection.

CONNECTION PROCEDURE

Enter UV credentials

On the first page, choose “My phones”.

Then choose “Call forwarding”.

 

Direct call forwarding

Direct forwarding means that if anyone calls you on the UV number, it will always be forwarded to the phone number of your choice. As in-person and remote working periods are alternating, this option is either active or not, depending on the workplace, and involves permanent monitoring, but avoids waiting for the caller.

First of all, select “Call forwarding”.

 

Press “Forward all calls to:” and enter the desired number:

(Remember that if it is not a UV phone, you should add a '0' in front of the numbering).

 

At the end, “Save” to keep the configuration.

From that moment on, all incoming calls to the UV extension will be forwarded to the indicated number.

Conditional call forwarding

Conditional call forwarding will occur as long as the conditions pre-set in the configuration screen are met. It allows greater flexibility, and therefore is recommended for remote working.  Once configured, when someone dials our extension it will ring three times before forwarding. (It is not configurable. There will always be three rings), in other words, there is no need to change this configuration when you are at university, provided that you pick up the phone before the third ring. It is valid for both situations, in person and remote working.

Uncheck “Forward all calls to:”, and select “Advanced call rules”. Select the options as shown in the image, adding your mobile or landline number. (Remember that if it is not a UV phone, you should add a '0' in front of the numbering).

With this configuration, the work phone would ring, and if it is not picked up, the call would be forwarded to our phone.

At the end, “Save” to keep the configuration.

From that moment on, all incoming calls to the UV extension will be forwarded to the indicated number as long as the conditions we have configured are met.

Remove call forwarding

If necessary, we can also delete the configured turnouts to return to the initial situation of our physical extension configuration at the UV.

To do so:

Uncheck ALL the options and press “Save”.

At the end, “Save” to keep the configuration.

After that, everything would reset to default, i.e. calls would be received again on the UV extension, without forwarding to the physical UV phone.
