NOTE: Any queries or incidents regarding the procedures for the Incorporation of Participation Activities of the Faculty of Law should be sent by ticketing.
General information
In accordance with article 46.2.i) of Organic Law 6/2001, of 21 December, on universities, students may obtain academic recognition in credits for participation in university cultural, sporting, student representation, solidarity and cooperation activities.
This possibility provides students with the opportunity to carry out activities that encourage creativity, recognise participation in university life and, in general, complement their chosen studies, thus providing them with a cultural background that complements that of their academic area of origin and a comprehensive, plural and interdisciplinary training as university students and as citizens.
All students who are enrolled in their final year (including the enrolment of the Final Degree Project and Internships), that is, who are in a position to complete their degree can apply for these credits.
The activities must be carried out at the Universitat de València throughout the degree, and must be included in the published annually by the UV, approved by the Governing Council as specified in the Reglament de Transferència i Reconeixement de Crèdits de Grau i Màster de la UV, about cultural, sporting, student representation, solidarity and cooperation activities. (CG 11/07/2023)
It is advisable NOT to enrol for the elective course you do not intend to take. If the student is enrolled, the student must request the cancellation of the course preferably during the month of September and in any case before 31st December. Otherwise, the subject will appear on the transcript as "Not presented" and the registration fees for the optional subject will not be refunded.
A minimum of 4.5 credits and a maximum of 6 credits must be taken, and this exempts you from taking one of the optional subjects in the study plan.
The grade for these credits will be "PASS" with the concept "University activities".
Procedure
- Once the activities have been carried out and the accreditation certificate has been obtained, the student will submit the application for the incorporation of participation credits at the Online Office, attaching the certificate.
- When the Administrative Services of the Faculty verify that the activity carried out is included in the list approved by the Governing Council, they will send each student the receipt of fees (25% of the value of the credits), with the application of the exemption if applicable (large family, disability...).
- The interested party must pay the corresponding receipt through the channels provided (preferably through the Virtual Office or the Online Office).
- As soon as confirmation of payment is received, the acknowledgement will be closed and the appropriations will be entered in the file. After a few days, the student will be able to consult the credits added to their transcript.

Submission deadline
From 20th September until the end of the academic year. Students who are not enrolled in all the electives (or have already passed them) must incorporate the credits before the Final Degree Project deposit date.
