Teacher at the Department of Teaching of Musical, Visual and Corporal Expression at the University of Valencia since 2013. Previously  Associate Lecturer in Art Education at the University of Alicante (2008-2013). Member of the University Institute of Educational Creativity and Innovation. Member of the research group in cultural pedagogies CREARI. Ph. D in Specific Didactics in Visual Arts. She has a Diploma in Technical Architecture. Advanced Studies Diploma [Master’s Thesis] in Educational Research, Curricular and Professional Development. Fine Arts graduate with an award to the best student academic file and recognition as a five-star student. Building Engineering graduate and Diploma in Technical Architecture from the University of Alicante.

Biography
 

PhD in Fine Arts (UPV), and Lecturer in the Area of ​​Didactics of Art & Visual Education at the Faculty of Teaching of the University of Valencia. Official Master's Degree in Cultural Management (UV / UPV) and Specialization Diploma in Culture, Reading & Children's Literature (UV). She has given talks, workshops and courses on illustration, creativity and pedagogy in academic frameworks, libraries, schools and other organizations. As a researcher, her main line of work focuses on the potential of Multiliteracies and the interdisciplinarity between Art, Literature and Nature in the learning environment. She has a special interest in picturebooks, critical and sustainable skills, Slow Looking as a pedagogical methodology (Tishman,2018) and the use of narratives (Storytelling) in The Creative Classroom (Bamford,2006). Member of the board of literary critics of the Faristol magazine (Consell Català del Llibre Infantil i Juvenil - CCLIJ since 2006. In parallel, she collaborates with national and international publishers as an illustrator of children's books.

Biography
 
David Mascarell Palau is a PhD professor in the area of ​​Plastic Expression of the Department of Didactics of Physical, Artistic and Musical Teachings of the Faculty of Teaching, University of Valencia. Graduate in Design, advertising graphics (1995), and Graduate in Fine Arts (2009), with extraordinary lifetime achievement award. Master's Degree in Secondary Education Teaching Staff with high academic performance and Master's Degree in Research in Specific Didactics. Doctor Cum Laude from the University of Valencia in Teaching of Visual Arts. He has received various artistic recognitions, as well as pedagogical recognitions throughout his professional teaching career that began in 1999. He is part of CREARI, a research group in cultural pedagogies. He is a member of SEA, Society for Art Education. He has participated in 14 Educational Innovation Projects and other R&D projects. His lines of research are developed around Information and Communications Technologies with mobile devices (Mobile Learning), visual culture, images, heritage and interdisciplinarity in Artistic Education. He has carried out research stays, including one at the Oslo Metropolitan University, in Norway. He currently coordinates an Educational Innovation Project that focuses on promoting interdisciplinarity in Art Education during the Early Childhood Stage.
