Micropaleontology collections are divided into two large groups: Foraminifera and conodonts.
Foraminifera
Foraminifera collection is a result of the studies carried out on marine outcropping materials of the Neogene both in the Spanish Mediterranean and in international coast. Bali and Nusa Lembogan collections stand out, as they are rich in beautiful and sometimes large tropical waters, considerable for unicellular organism.
Conodonts
The conodonts collection is formed by phosphoric microscopic remainders of the conodont system of primitive chordates (conodonts), whose biological finality is still uncertain. However, they are extremely important for elaborating theories on the origin of vertebrates. The collection contains several holotypes and reference materials.
