The BuncaPòdcastUV of the Master's in Japanese and Korean Studies debuts with an interview with Harvard professor Alexander Zahtlen.

The EspaiPòdcastUV of the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication launches BunkaPòdcastUV, an initiative originating from the Master's in Japanese and Korean Studies directed by Professor Marcos Centeno of the Department of Language Theory and Communication Sciences.

This podcast ran by Ryan Choi and Daniel Chan is comprised of interviews to leading scholars in the field of Asian Studies who have been invited to the lectures series Transculturality and Diversity in East Asia, held at the University of Valencia and sponsored by Eurasia Foundation (from Asia). The lecture series is part of the project TRADIASIA: transculturality and diversity in East Asia" coordinated by Marcos Centeno, and the MA in Japanese and Korean Studies at UV. BunkaPòdcastUV is organised by the Vice-Dean’s Office for Communication, Equality, Inclusive Policies and Sustainability, headed by Maria Josep Picó, and it receives technical support and editing by Nacho Agote from the audiovisual team at the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication.

In this first episode, Ryan Choi and Daniel Chan interview Harvard University professor Alexander Zahtlen, who gave a lecture on the University of Valencia’s MA in Japanese and Korean Studies programme on war memories in Japanese and Korean cinema.
