On June 16th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Department of Catalan Philology and the area of Arabic and Islamic Studies will hold a tribute to our colleague Carmen Barceló Torres, professor of Arabic and Islamic Studies, who passed away late last year. The tribute will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Philology, Translation, and Communication.
The event will include a welcome and presentation by representatives of the academic authorities, as well as personal contributions from colleagues who worked with her throughout her life.
