The Double Degree in Archaeology and History provides education on critical knowledge of the past of humanity to understand its present, with basic concepts of both specialties and their evolution, and explains the most relevant historical processes. It combines the archaeological perspective (focused on the dig, preservation and analysis of archaeological and paleobiological items) with history educations (focused on understanding the past of humanity, recognising cultural civilisation diversity, and raising awareness and respect for cultural values and traditions.

Students will learn the basics of methods, techniques and tools for analysis of history along with technical and methodological dig skills, material treatment and preservation, interpretation of historical and patrimony contexts, and cultural patrimony management. The programme promotes critical thinking and thorough research, essential for knowledge dissemination.
