Any promoter interested in forming a chair must submit a request to the Chairs Management Unit of the Universitat de València. Please follow the instructions below.

  1. Download the following documents, which will be included in the contract file:

• Letter of interest requesting the start of the procedure;

• Responsible Declaration of Absence of Conflicts of Interest (DACI) signed by every member of the UV participating in the activity.

  1. Complete and sign the PDF documents, preferably using an electronic signature.

• The DACI, once signed by all participating members of the UV, should be compressed into a single file (DACI.zip or DACI.rar).

  1. Save the documents in electronic format so that they may be attached to the electronic application.
  2. Open the electronic application, fill in the form and attach the requested documents.
  3. Print the proof of application submission, Each application is identified by the acronym that appears in the upper right corner of the document. For example, in the acronym  the application number is 1532015.

Once the application form has been submitted, the Chairs Management Unit will contact the promoter to clarify any doubts, provide information and inform about the next steps.

Should the chair be deemed viable, and once the collaboration agreement has been signed, the contract file will be processed in accordance with the rules and procedures of the UV, including the Regulation on the creation and operation of UV Chairs (ACGUV 267/2017), the Budget execution regulations and the rules of execution of the corresponding financial year.
