Research in Quantum Science and Tecnology. Deadline: 5th December 2025 at 17 h.
Quantera era-net has published a call for research projects in quantum science and technologies, with funding from agencies in 29 countries and the European Commission. The overall budget is around 53 million euros.
In the case of Spain, the AEI and the CDTI are participating. Please see the eligibility criteria and requirements in the call text.
Researchers are invited to apply for funding in one of two topics::
- Quantum Phenomena and Resources (QPR) – with the goal of laying the foundations for the QT of the future;
- Applied Quantum Science (AQS) – aimed at leveraging established quantum effects and concepts from quantum science, translating them into technological applications and developing new products.
All projects are expected to address one or more of the following areas:
- Quantum communication
- Quantum computing
- Quantum simulation
- Quantum sensing and metrology
- General quantum science
Projects, which will have a duration of 24 to 36 months, must be composed of at least 3 partners eligible to receive funding from three or more different countries participating in the call. Standard consortium size: 3 to 6 partners.
The submission of project proposals will be carried out online in a single phase, with the deadline being 5th December 2025 at 5 p.m.
