MSCA Staff Exchanges

Marie Sklodowska-Curie Staff Exchanges. Deadline: 8 October 2025

The Horizon Europe call for proposals, called Marie Sklodowska-Curie Staff Exchange Actions and known as Staff Exchanges, has been published. These actions fund staff exchanges (between 1 and 12 months) that enable international, intersectoral and interdisciplinary collaboration. The secondments can be of doctoral or non-doctoral research staff, or administrative, technical or management staff.

The aim is the sustainable development of collaborative projects between different organisations from the academic and non-academic sectors (especially SMEs) based in Europe and also outside Europe.

Staff benefit from the acquisition of new knowledge, skills and career development perspectives, while the participating organisations increase their research and innovation capacities.

Consortia must include a minimum of 3 organisations from three different countries, two of which must belong to a different European or associated country. If all the participating organisations are from the same sector, at least one must be from a non-associated third country.

Staff exchange projects can last up to four years. The grant covers the mobility of staff members from one month to one year. After the exchange, the staff returns to their original workplace to transfer knowledge.

In addition to the funding for the mobility itself, Horizon Europe will finance research and training activities of the selected projects, as well as management expenses and indirect costs.

If you are interested in submitting a project proposal, contact us at the International R&D&I Unit, and we will help you submit it in a timely manner. Our email address is sti.internacional@uv.es, and our telephone number is 96-3983621. The deadline for submission to the European Commission is 8 October 2025.
