The 2025 call MSCA Doctoral Networks is open for submission. Budget: 597.8 million Euros
The European Commission has opened the call for proposals for the formation of Marie Skłodowska-Curie doctoral networks under Horizon Europe. The deadline is 25 November 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Brussels time.
This call for proposals funds international, cross-sector, and interdisciplinary consortia that will recruit and train predoctoral research staff.
There are three modalities:
- Standard doctoral networks (maximum 540 person/month)
- Industrial doctorates (maximum 540 person/month)
- Joint doctorates (maximum 540 person/month)
All three modalities require a consortium of at least three independent legal entities from three different Member or Associate States, at least one of which must be a Member State. All beneficiaries must recruit at least one predoctoral researcher who will enroll in a doctoral programme. Project duration is 48 months, with an additional year for joint doctorates.
It is important to note that the participation of both academic and non-academic sectors is essential. It should also be noted that beneficiaries from the same country will not receive more than 40% of the project funding.
The presentations from the FECYT European Office's information event held on 30 May 2025, are now available. The European Commission will hold its information day on 24 June 2025.
