During its more than 15 years of existence, CIDEC has been carrying out a systematic treatment of information and documentary resources in the field of Social Economy, especially on cooperatives, mutual societies, associations, foundations, NGOs, self-management, employment, rural tourism, public economics and economic policy. The result of that work is the «Catalogue of CIDEC Documentary Resources» (Catálogo de Recursos Documentales del CIDEC), where there are, classified by areas and physical location, more than 20.000 records available in different formats (books, scientific and dissemination journals, reports, annuals, videos, CDs and DVDs) developers of the prolific literature and activity in this scientific field.

The Catalogue, mentioned above, has been published in book form, in a joint edition of CIRIEC-Spain and IUDESCOOP (University Institute on Social and Cooperative Economics), and its presentation took place during the course of the International Conference of Documentation Centres on Social and Cooperative Economics, held on 18 October 2005 at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Valencia.
