The University Institute for Research in Social Economy, Cooperativism and Entrepreneurship - IUDESCOOP is part of the network of European and Latin American universities that hosts a series of universities integrated by consolidated research centres or groups in social economy. It has its origins in a project financed in 2002 by the European Union. Its main purpose is to establish different forms of collaboration in the field of the Social and Solidarity Economy in general and cooperatives in particular, in order to promote teaching, research and outreach in universities.
