The University of Valencia, through the University Institute of Social Economy, Cooperativism and Entrepreneurship (IUDESCOOP), has launched the first international mobility programme under the Erasmus+ EEE+S project – European School of Social Entrepreneurship
The group consists of the six students selected in the call for applications: Jorge Rehues, Carla Alcover, Llum Barberà, Camila Naveira, Neus Lorente and Aitana García, who are travelling accompanied by Rubén Cuñat, co-director of the Master's Degree in Social Economy.
The participants come from a variety of degree programmes, such as Business Administration and Management, ADE Ontinyent, Sociology, Double Degree in Sociology and Political Science, Master's Degree in Social Economy and Double Degree in Law and Criminology, providing a key interdisciplinary perspective for social entrepreneurship.
The mobility programme is taking place at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale (UBO) in Brest (France), the first of three locations planned for the international training itinerary.
The project is coordinated in Valencia by María José Vañó Vañó, Professor of Commercial Law and researcher at IUDESCOOP, who highlights ‘the value of this international experience in consolidating skills in social innovation, collaborative leadership and transnational teamwork’.
This stay is the starting point for a training programme that will continue in Pisa (Italy) and at the Madrid-Valencia campuses, strengthening the University of Valencia's commitment to specialised training in social economy and the promotion of young talent in the field of social entrepreneurship.
