The Tarongers Campus was the first globally integrated campus. This new campus was designed as part of the 1988 General Urban Ordinance Plan of Valencia, which resulted in the design of highly unique buildings constructed under a cohesive model of materials and forms, in an architectural style that places particular emphasis on volumes and spatial functionality. These buildings are characterized by the repetition of modular elements, their monumental character and the use of clear and simple forms, making them examples of the magnificent architecture associated with the uses and functions of the new university campus.
