CWTS Leiden Ranking 2017 provides information on the scientific performance of 902 universities wrldwide, selected based on the number of publications indexed in Web of Science in the period 2012-2015. Each indicator can be calculated using a complete counting method (same weight for all publications) or a fractional counting method (less than collaborative publications).
The Universitat de València is located at the national level in the fourth position with fractional counting, and the fifth position with full counting. Worldwide level occupies the position 220 (complete) and 249 (fractional) and at European level the position 84 (fractional) and 85 (complete).
