The laboratory technicians of the Faculty of Chemistry have been awarded in the fifteenth edition of the University-Society Awards,  bestowed by the Social Council of the Universitat de València, under the category of the Universitat de València to the University Management.

The awards, convened annually, are mainly intended to encourage the participation of Administration and Services of the Universitat de València in the modernization of university administration through the presentation of initiatives that promote the improvement of the professional activities, technical and administrative, and to develop their effectiveness in line with the requirements of the university community, thus fostering a better service to it.

The application, entitled “Laboratory Management towards Sustainable Chemistry” shows the work carried out by a group of technicians from the different laboratories of the Faculty of Chemistry,  to achieve a teaching laboratories management aimed to reduce spending and the amount of waste generated, and minimize the risks linked with their operation.
