Description of research activity:

Evidence-Based Education (EBE) is a research group committed to enhancing educational experiences through the use of innovative technologies grounded in learning analytics. Our work focuses on the design of complex, personalized educational interventions, the empirical evaluation of their effectiveness, and the contextual adaptation of educational theories. To date, we have developed and implemented techniques such as Social Network Analysis to foster interactive learning and Text Mining to support concept acquisition (project CIGE/2023/53). Our research involves the systematic collection, analysis, and communication of data-driven evidence from individuals and groups, with the goal of understanding and optimizing learning processes and the environments in which they unfold. Through this evidence-based approach, we strive to promote equitable education that is responsive to the unique needs of each learner, supporting all individuals in achieving their full potential.
