The Faculty of Biological Sciences with the support of the Delegation for the Incorporation to the University of the Universitat de València announces a new edition of the Projectes Natura Competition.
Projectes Natura creates inter-stage teams (University, Secondary and Primary) to develop different projects with the aim of transmitting basic ideas of Natural Sciences (Molecular and Cellular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Ecology, Geology...). In a situation in which the educational community has to cooperate more than ever, we invite you to participate in this idea. In this new edition, the option of developing the projects in digital format (video games, apps...) will be maintained, expanding the creation of resources that allow quality distance learning without excluding any other proposal (experiments, itineraries, games, science and art...).
Participants: Teams made up of teachers and students of ESO and Bachillerato of natural sciences, and we also invite the creation of transversal teams with teachers of technology and computer science or artistic disciplines, given the new characteristics that the projects may have, together with the primary school teachers and pupils who will be the target of the project. Those selected will be assigned, in order of registration, one student and one university lecturer.
Dates: The projects will be carried out over the course of the school year and will consist of different stages, as detailed below (the duration and timing of the stages is approximate and will depend on each specific project):
- Stage 1: Planning of the idea and theme (September-December)
- Stage 2: Development of the project (January-March)
- Stage 3: Implementation of the project in primary school (April-May)
- Stage 4: Fair and competition (May)
