
The round table entitled "The role of the European Parliament in ending the crisis: A German perspective of the austerity vs. growth debate" will be held on Friday June 6 at 10:00 in Sánchez Ayuso Room. Students, teachers and society in general are invited to this event organised by the Faculty of Economics.
The event will be presented by the Dean of the Faculty, Vicent Soler i Marco and there will be speeches by a Member of the European Parliament, Burkhard Balz, the German Secretary of State for Finance, Steffen Kampeter, and the director of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Spain and Portugal, Thomas Stehling.
Cecilio Tamarit Escanola and Javier Quesada Ibáñez, professors of Economy, and the vice-deans of the Faculty of Economics, Pilar Soriano and Fidel León, will also participate in this event. The Regional Minister of Economy, Industry and Trade, Máximo Buch Torralva, will join them later.
After the round table, attendees will be able to participate in the question-and-answer session.
