The Languages Policy Service offers grants to take languages exams in Catalan, English and other languages of any level for the University staff.

Who can apply?
Research, teaching, and administrative staff (PDI, PI, or PTGAS) at the Universitat de València.
What do they cover?
Exams taken between 1 October 2025 and 30 September 2026.
When to apply
From 1 February to 31 October 2026. OPEN
How much can be granted?
Up to €650 between courses and tests.
The Languages Policy Service will pay a percentage of the examination fees as follows:
- CIEACOVA and JQCV certificates of Catalan, PACLE certificates issued by Centre d’Idiomes of the Universitat de València, other English exams of the Centre d'Idiomes, Chinese certificates issued by Confucius Institute of the Universitat de València, and Catalan and English certificates issued by official schools of languages: 100%.
- CELI and CAPLE exams organised by the Universitat de València, other non official languages exams taken in official schools of languages, DELF-DALF issued by Institut Français, Goethe-Institut issued by Centre Alemany and CELI issued by Centro G. Leopardi: 50%.
- Only one certificate per language and level will be granted, regardless of the academic year or call in which the grant was obtained.
- Additional costs will not be subsidised when candidates repeat any part of the test, or the whole test, because of failure in the first call.
When are the resolutions announced?
Two resolutions will be published on the University's official board.
- Applications submitted between 1 February and 30 June: resolution in July
- Applications submitted between 1 July and 31 October: resolution in November
Which certificates can be granted?
CIEACOVA Catalan tests; CELI Italian tests and CAPLE Portuguese tests organised by the Universitat de València; JQCV Catalan tests; exams organised by Centre d’Idiomes de la UV. And also exams taken in official schools of languages, DELF-DALF by Institut Fraçais, Goethe-Institut by Centre Alemany and CELI by Centro G. Leopardi.
To get a grant you must have passed an exam to certify your level between 1 October 2025 and 30 September 2026.
How to apply?
Applicants have to register for the exams. Once you pass the exam, fill in the application form, attach a copy of your service record (find it as service sheet on the UV employee portal), and follow these guidelines:
- For certificates issued by the Universitat de València, fill in the application form. No more documents are required.
- For certificates issued by Florida Universitària, by Centre d’Idiomes of the Universitat de València and by other institutions, fill in the application form and attach the payment receipt as well as a scanned copy of the certificate.
Applications will only be accepted after passing the test.

Qui les pot demanar?
Es requereix ser PDI, PTGAS o PI de la Universitat de València.
Quin període cobreixen?
Proves realitzades entre l'1 d'octubre de 2026 i el 30 de setembre de 2027.
Quan es poden demanar?
Entre l'1 de febrer i el 31 d'octubre de 2027.
Quina quantitat se subvenciona?
Fins a 650 € entre cursos i proves.
El Servei retornarà a cada persona sol·licitant un percentatge del cost total de la prova, segons les indicacions següents:
- Proves d’acreditació de valencià de la CIEACOVA i de la JQCV, proves PACLE d’acreditació del Centre d’Idiomes de la UV, altres proves d'anglès fetes al Centre d’Idiomes, proves de l'Institut Confuci de la UV i proves d’acreditació de valencià i anglès de les escoles oficials d’idiomes: 100%.
- Proves d’acreditació CELI i CAPLE organitzades per la UV, proves de la resta de llengües no oficials a les escoles oficials d’idiomes, proves DELF-DALF de l'Institut Francès, proves Goethe-Institut del Centre Alemany i proves CELI del Centre G. Leopardi: 50%.
- No se subvencionarà més d’una acreditació de la mateixa llengua i el mateix nivell, independentment de l'any acadèmic o convocatòria en què s'haja obtingut la subvenció.
- No se subvencionarà el cost addicional si la persona candidata ha hagut de repetir alguna de les parts de la prova, o la prova completa, perquè no l’ha superada en la primera convocatòria.
Quan es resolen?
En el tauler de la Universitat es publicaran dues resolucions d'adjudicacions.
- Sol·licituds entre l'1 de febrer i el 30 de juny: resolució al juliol
- Sol·licituds entre l'1 de juliol i el 31 d'octubre: resolució al novembre
Quins certificats se subvencionen?
Seran subvencionables les proves de valencià de la CIEACOVA; les proves CELI d’italià i CAPLE de portuguès organitzades per la UV; les proves de valencià de la JQCV, les proves del Centre d’Idiomes de la UV, les proves d'acreditació de les escoles oficials d’idiomes, les proves DELF-DALF de l’Institut Francès, les proves Goethe-Institut del Centre Alemany i les proves CELI del Centro G. Leopardi. Per a poder rebre l’ajuda s’ha de demostrar haver realitzat i haver superat la prova d’acreditació entre l’1 d’octubre de 2026 i el 30 de setembre de 2027.
Com es poden demanar?
Heu de formalitzar pel vostre compte la matrícula de la prova i fer l’examen corresponent. Una vegada superada la prova, haureu d’emplenar la sol·licitud, adjuntar-hi una còpia del full de serveis (disponible en el portal del personal empleat) i justificar-ne la superació segons les instruccions següents:
- Les persones acreditades en proves de la UV hauran d’emplenar el formulari i no caldrà que aporten cap documentació acreditativa.
- Les persones acreditades en proves de la CIEACOVA a la seu de Florida Universitària, en proves al Centre d'Idiomes de la UV i en proves externes a la UV hauran d’emplenar el formulari i adjuntar-hi el rebut del pagament i el certificat de superació escanejats.
Només s'acceptaran sol·licituds una vegada superada la prova.
