
2025 call of the Junta Qualificadora de Coneixements de Valencià.
The official Catalan language tests organised by the Generalitat Valenciana (Valencian autonomous government), through the Junta Qualificadora de Coneixements de Valencià (JQCV), have been announced for the year 2025. The A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 written exams will be held on Saturday 4 October, and the oral exams will be held on Saturdays 18 and 25 October. The specific language exams will be held on Saturday 14 June and include three certificates: administrative language, proofreading and language in the media.
Registration for the exams
Registration will be online on the Junta Qualificadora de Coneixements de Valencià (JQCV) website and will open progressively on different dates depending on the levels.
The first period of online registration, which will open between 5 and 9 May, will be for the specific languages certificates. From the 23 to 30 June, the online registration of levels A2, B1 and B2 will be open.
Both in the case of the specific language exams and for levels A2, B1 and B2, the online registration will be done without previous request of turn. That is to say, applicants will register and pay the fees, and will be automatically registered. This procedure can be carried out on the web platform of the exams.
Registration for levels C1 and C2
For levels C1 and C2, applicants must register before applying. Visit the web for links to the different applications.
The C1 pre-registration will be available from 26 June at 9:00 a.m. to 2 July at 9:00 a.m., or until all the places are sold out. In the case of C2, pre-registration may be requested from 26 June at 10:00 a.m. to 2 July at 10:00 a.m, or until the places are sold out.
Applicants who have been assigned a C1 and C2 pre-registration must register online on the date and time slot assigned.
Exams calendar
The written exams of the five levels will be held on Saturday 4 October. The B1 and C1 exams will be start at 9.00 a.m., while the A2, B2 and C2 exams will start at 4.00 p.m. Candidates will know their scores in the areas of written comprehension, oral comprehension and linguistic structures, evaluated on this first day, before the oral exams take place.
The evaluation of the oral expression and interaction area will take place over consecutive Saturdays: 18 and 25 October. Each applicant will know through the website of the JQCV the day and time to take the exam, which may have both morning and afternoon sittings, depending on the place where you are taking the exam.
Regarding the specific language certificates, the exams will be held on Saturday 14 June: 9.00 a.m. administrative language and proofreading, and 4.00 p.m. language in the media.
