How to apply?

Register for a language course and attend the lessons regularly (at least 80% of the classes).
Once you finish the course, fill in this application form and attach:
- a copy of the receipt (if the course is at the Centre d’Idiomes, this information is not needed)
- a certificate showing that you passed the course (if the course is at the Centre d’Idiomes, this information is not needed)
- a copy of your service record (find it as service sheet on the UV employee portal)

Applications will only be accepted after successful completion of the course.

How much can be granted?

The Languages Policy Service will pay back a percentage of the cost of the course in the following cases:

Languages courses taken in Centre d’Idiomes of the University of Valencia, Catalan and English courses taken in official schools of languages, Catalan courses organised by Centre Carles Salvador, and Chinese courses taken in the Confucius Institute of the University of Valencia: 100%.
Other language courses taken in official schools of languages, Centro G. Leopardi, Centro Alemán and Institut Français: 50%.
Course fees, enrolment fees or any other fees will not be granted, except for the Catalan and English courses at the workplace offered by Centre d’Idiomes.
Only one course per language and level will be granted.

Who can apply?

Teaching and research staff, administrative and service staff, and trainee research staff of the University of Valencia.

What do they cover?

Courses ending between 1 October 2025 and 30 September 2026

When to apply

From 1 February to 31 October 2026. AVAILABLE SOON

How much can be granted?

€650 between courses and tests.

When are the resolutions announced?

Two resolutions will be published on the University's official board.

Applications submitted between 1 February and 30 June: resolution in July
Applications submitted between 1 July and 31 October: resolution in November

Which courses can be taken?

Courses organised by Centre d’Idiomes and Confucius Institute of the University of Valencia, official schools of languages, Centre Carles Salvador, Centro G. Leopardi, Centre Alemany and Institut Français.
