2. UV students. Admission and 1st registration

A total of 3 places are offered. The Spanish-German Law Degree Program has a two-phase selection process:

1) Pre-registration from Conselleria d'Educació  requesting access to the Law Degree at the UV: from June XX to July XX, 2025. List of admitted students: July XX, 2025.

2) Application for admission to the Program: The pre-registration form can only be submitted between xx to xx July 2025 (until 2 p.m.) by tiqueting

On July xx (from 6 p.m.) the list of admitted students will be published on this page along with the day and time that these students must self-enrol (in Group B of the Degree in Law).

To take this program, it is essential to initially prove a B1 level of German. Priority will be given to those who prove this at the time of application. In the event that the places offered are not filled by students who meet the previous requirement, students may opt for the program without proof of language proficiency, provided that they present a certificate proving their B1 level of German before registering for the following year. In the 2nd year, B2 must be proven and in the 3rd year, C1.

The language certificates accepted by the University of Valencia can be consulted at the following link: https://links.uv.es/ERBdNh0

Students who have completed their baccalaureate in the German Education System (ABITUR) will have their C level recognized.

3. UV students: 1st year

It is essential to prove a B1 level of German at the end of the first academic year.

Once the entire first year of the Bachelor's Degree in Law has been completed, students who continue in the double degree must automatically enroll in all 2nd year subjects in group B.

4. UV students : 2nd year

It is essential to prove a B2 level of German at the end of the first academic year.

5. UV students: 3rd year

At the beginning of the course, in November, the Erasmus program must be applied for the following course and it is an essential requirement to present the B2 German certification at this time for these purposes.

At the end of the course, and in order to carry out the mobility in the 4th year at the University of Mainz, students who continue in the program must draw up the study contract on the mobility platform (through the Student Portal, following the instructions of the UV International Relations Service) including on the one hand the JGU subjects indicated in the agreement signed between both institutions and on the other hand those of the UV of the 4th year of the Degree in Law. The contract must be complete and closed on the platform before the automatic registration for the following course and must be signed by the coordinators of both universities.

The automatic registration for the fourth year must include the "international credits" that will be preloaded in the application (a total of 60 credits) and, where applicable, the subjects previously failed at the UV (a maximum of two) that must be taken remotely. It is important to remember that there is no special treatment in the continuous assessment due to having to take the subjects remotely.

The contract must include the subjects to be taken in Mainz and the corresponding 4th year subjects of the Degree in Law: all the compulsory ones (including Internships and TFG), and one of the optional itineraries provided for in the curriculum of the Degree in Law. The contract must be complete and closed on the platform before the automatic registration for the following course and must be signed by the coordinators of both universities.

6. Students UV: 4th year

The "international credits" that will be preloaded into the application (a total of 60) must be included in the automatic registration for the fourth year.

When you have all the mobility credits included in your transcript, you can apply for the Degree in Law from the UV.
