Born in Valencia (1957). She is full university professor of State Canon Law in the Faculty of Law of the Universitat de València since 1999.


Doctor in Law by the Universitat de València and graduated in Canon Law by the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca.
She directed seven doctoral thesis and several dissertations, undergraduate degree and master’s degree final projects. She published books and numerous articles in specialised journals. She was main researcher in several financed research projects. The research lines reach the Canon State Law as well as Canon Law and rights of high religious confessions. She published about religious freedom, women’s legal position within the different confessions, Church-State relationships, autonomic ecclesiastical law, ecclesiastical legislation, State cooperation agreements with the religious confessions, confessions funding, religious education, religious assistance, religious minorities marriage, civil effect of the canonical and religious marriages, preparation to marriage, marriage canon law, canon marriage causes, family rights, lay persons and ecclesiastical offices, etc. She has gained recognition by the CNEAI for five six-yearly increment of research.
She is professor in the Degree in Law of the subjects State Canon Law, Canon Marriage Causes, Undergraduate Degree Final Projects and Practicums. She is also professor of the Master's Degree in Law Practice and the Master's Degree in Human Rights, Peace and Sustainable Development. She has gained recognition by the Universitat de València for six five-yearly increment of teaching.
Dean de la Faculty of Law, member of the Senate, member of the Committee of Complaints of the University, member of the Centre Board of the Faculty of Law.
She held the following unipersonal positions: Director of the Department of Roman Law and State Ecclesiastic Law, Coordinator of the State Ecclesiastic Law Area and Secretariat of the Faculty of Law.
She also was a member of the following university bodies: Constituting senate, the Grievances Tribunal, the Emeritus Committee, Advisory Board, Academic Committee of the former Spanish undergraduate degree in Law, and the Contestation Committee of the Faculty of Law.

Member of the Advisory Board for Religious Freedom of the Ministry of Justice. He is a corresponding academic of the Royal Academy of Legislation and Jurisprudence of Madrid. External consultant of the ACADEMIA programme for the National Accreditation of Professors of the ANECA. External evaluator consultant of research projects of the Ministry of Education and research evaluator of AGAUR.
