The Faculty hosts every year the Olympics for Valencian, Classical and linguistics Studies, organized by the UV Delegation for Students. Winning students are awarded with a 1000€ grant for their university studies only in case the student joins the UV.
Olympics for Valencian Studies: it has a twofold objective: (1) to promote and spread the study of our language and our literature among the HSE students, thus awarding the effort and pursuing of academic excellence; (2) to create readers of the Catalan literature and widen students’ literary creativity. It is addressed to the students of 1st and 2nd HSE of the region of Valencia. Students participate in pairs, which can include students from different years. A max. of four teams per teacher is allowed, with a max. of 12 teams per high school.
