The degree academic committees collaborate in the organisation of teaching and guarantee the academic coherence of the corresponding degree programme.

The functions of the academic degree committee are (art. 31 of the Modified Internal Regulations ACGUV 24/2019):

a) Drawing up the proposal for the organisation of the academic year, taking into account the criteria established by the Governing Council and the proposals of the departments. This proposal must specify the language in which it is taught.

b) To coordinate and supervise the teaching programme of the departments involved.

c) To prepare and disseminate the necessary documentation for guidance and information to students on the curricular itineraries, optional subjects and free-choice subjects.

d) To issue a report on the proposed timetables and allocation of spaces.

e) To draw up an annual report on the teaching activity carried out during the academic year, in accordance with the objectives of the degree programmes, which must be sent to the management of the faculty and to the members of the faculty board.

f) To propose the resolution, following a report from the competent departments, of requests for partial validation of studies.

Las comisiones académicas de título, presididas por el decano o la decana de la Facultad o la persona en quien delega, quedarán reguladas por un reglamento aprobado por el Consejo de Gobierno. Cada titulación podrá tener un coordinador o una coordinadora con la misión de garantizar la continuidad en las tareas de coordinación y supervisión que corresponden a la Comisión Académica de Título. Esta figura es nombrada por la junta de Facultad, a propuesta de la Comisión Académica de Título, después de consultar las áreas o los departamentos afectados.

Dada la estructura de los planes de estudio de las titulaciones de la Facultat de Filologia, Traducció i Comunicació, existe una Comisión de Coordinación de Centro, (SUPRACAT para grados y SUPRACCA para másteres), formada por responsables de la coordinación de todos los grados y de todos los másteres, el Decano o la Decana o persona en quien delegue (el/la vicedecano/a de Estudios de Grado, el/la vicedecano/a de Posgrado e Investigación), el/la administrador/a del centro y un/a estudiante.
