The 1st Conference on Innovation in Language, Employability and Artificial Intelligence, organised by the Consolidated Innovation Group INNOVALingua-EIA (GCID25-3799451), aims to provide a platform for exploring how language education can address today’s challenges related to employability and educational transformation.

The first day focuses on real career pathways related to public service translation and interpreting, language consultancy in public administration, forensic linguistics, ELT publishing, job opportunities in European institutions, and language-focused roles in the technology sector, featuring talks from experts in academia, government, and industry.

The second day explores the impact of AI on language teaching and learning, with sessions on curricular integration, teacher professional development, and practical applications in machine translation, AI-assisted writing, and pronunciation training, fostering informed debate on innovation and pedagogical ethics.

This is a two-day hybrid academic event taking place from 12 to 13 November 2025 at the Salón de Grados (Day 1), Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication, and Espai Cultural (Day 2), as well as online.
