Thresholds of Inclusion, Development, Action, Needs, Life Trajectories and Sustainability - LLINDANTS

Reference of the Group:

GIUV2026-027

Description of research activity:

The LLINDANTS research group focuses its activity on the study of social, educational, occupational, and health-related processes that take place in boundary or transitional contexts, understanding these thresholds as key moments in the life trajectories of individuals, groups, and organizations. The group approaches these processes from a psychosocial, interdisciplinary, and applied perspective, integrating both the analysis of reality and the design, implementation, and evaluation of interventions aimed at inclusion, well-being, and social sustainability.

Scientific-technical goals:

Research lines:
  • Thresholds of Inclusion, Development, Action, Needs, Life Trajectories and Sustainability.LLINDANTS is defined as a research space that works from social margins and thresholds to understand processes of change and to intervene in them in a responsible, rigorous, and socially transformative manner. The research activity of LLINDANTS is organized around several interconnected axes that reflect a consolidated and plural scientific trajectory: 1. Employability, transitions, and professional development Research on educational and labor transitions, social and labor market integration, employability, and career development, with particular attention to groups in situations of vulnerability. This axis includes the study of social enterprises, active labor market policies, inclusion pathways, and the psychosocial factors that promote sustainable employment trajectories. 2. Conflict, negotiation, and emotions in social and labor contexts Study of conflict processes, negotiation strategies, leadership, and the role of emotions in educational, labor, and community contexts, with a clear orientation toward intervention and knowledge transfer. 3. High abilities, inclusive education, and talent development Analysis of the personal, emotional, and social development processes of individuals with high abilities, as well as the family, educational, and institutional factors that influence their well-being and inclusion. This axis incorporates a systemic perspective on specific educational needs, talent identification, and the promotion of inclusive educational environments throughout the life course. 4. Nursing action, health, and oncological contexts Study of the psychosocial processes associated with illness, especially in the fields of oncology and palliative care, with particular emphasis on the role of nursing practice, patient-family-professional relationships, and social and emotional needs in situations of extreme vulnerability. This axis integrates applied research aimed at improving quality of life and socio-health care. 5. University students, development, and well-being Research on educational trajectories, beliefs, values, socio-emotional competencies, and the well-being of university students, as well as on processes of adaptation to the educational, personal, and professional changes characteristic of the university stage. 6. Social sustainability, family business, and organizational change Analysis of social sustainability processes in organizational contexts, with special attention to family businesses, workplace well-being, conflict, negotiation, and emotional management in environments of change. This axis includes the study of interpersonal and intergenerational relationships, as well as strategies for positive conflict management and sustainable decision-making. LLINDANTS adopts a plural methodological approach, combining quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods, as well as evaluation strategies and action research. This approach makes it possible to address the complexity of the contexts studied and to generate rigorous knowledge with social impact. A distinctive feature of the group is its clear orientation toward psychosocial, educational, labor, and socio-health intervention, as well as toward the transfer of results to public institutions, social organizations, educational centers, companies, and health services. The group¿s activity thus contributes to the design of evidence-based practices and to the promotion of more inclusive, sustainable, and well-being-oriented life trajectories.
