The Universitat de València (UV) Transfer and Innovation Service is a Central Service that acts as a technical and administrative support structure for the Office of the Vice Principal for Research and the Research Commission, which performs the functions of knowledge transfer and the results generated in society.
The Transfer and Innovation Service assumes the competencies related to the implementation of the university knowledge transfer policy, such as support and advice on the definition of internal UV regulations in its area of competence, systems management. information, the evaluation and monitoring of knowledge transfer policies, or the management of the aid program itself, among others.

The Transfer and Innovation Service is organized internally in three sections and in the university chairs unit:
Contracted R + D + I, dedicated mainly to the management of R & D & I and related activities carried out under the auspices of art. 60 of the LOSU. It includes the negotiation, drafting, review, invoicing and legal-administrative monitoring of contracted R & D & I activities and related legal business.
International R + D + I , dedicated to promoting and managing the participation of UV researchers in the different European R & D & I initiatives (Horizon Europe, COST, LIFE, etc.) and, in general, of an international nature , through the different sources of funding available. It also carries out promotion and dynamization actions for participation in international research programs considered strategic for the UV.
Innovation and Valorisation, is mainly dedicated to the valorisation of the capacities and results of the research for its effective transfer to the productive fabric, either through its license to companies and other entities, or through the creation of companies. Technology Based (EBTs). Likewise, this section deals with the management of the intellectual and industrial property rights derived from the research activity, the management of the own program of aids of the UV in the part devoted to the valorisation and transfer of technology.
University chairs unit, dedicated to the management of both institutional and business chairs. Advises and accompanies the directors of chairs in the integral management of the chair. Enables the basic working tools of the chair (corporate mail, virtual disk, microsite, own website, etc.). It disseminates and promotes organized activities: grants, awards, events ... It is the reference unit for everything related to the chairs of the UV.
