The Observatory of Job Insertion and Occupational Guidance (OPAL) of the University of Valencia has developed apRIL (aplicación de Resultados de Inserción Laboral, in Spanish), an online application to facilitate personalized checks of the labour market entry indicators of the degrees (diploma and bachelor's degrees) analyzed in the three editions of the Study of the Labour Market Entry of the University of Valencia’s graduates.
This tool allows interested users to obtain specific indicators for each degree subject, disaggregated by data collection wave, sex, and years in the labour market and to observe its evolution over the last ten years. All the results provided by this application are based on representative samples.
The accessible indicators through apRIL (28 in total) are grouped into five categories:
- Assessment of the University of Valencia and the received education
- Characteristics of the first employment after graduation
- Employment status at the time of the survey
- Characteristics of current employment (at the time of the survey) or the last employment (for those unemployed at the time of the survey)
- Most usual employment status after graduation.
Interestingly, apRIL outcomes can also be downloaded in Excel format. However, the information is only available in Spanish and Valencian language (we apologize for the inconvenience).
