The 2019 edition of the RUR Subject Rankings has been published, which evaluates the performance of 830 higher education institutions in 6 subject areas. The positions of the Universitat de València are: Humanities (173 in the world and 12th in Spain), Life Sciences (210 in the world and 6th in Spain), Social Sciences (370 in the world and 13th in Spain), Medical Sciences (300 in the world and 8th in Spain), Natural Sciences (272 in the world and 9th in Spain) and Technical Sciences (381 and 14th in Spain).
