The first Strategic Plan of the University of Valencia, approved in 2008, arose as a need to identify the key factors and objectives that would enable the University to successfully achieve the adaptation to the changes and challenges posed by an ever changing and complex environment.
It also sought to improve the internal and social organisation and insight of the activities undertaken by our University.
The development and adoption of the Strategic Plan finally allowed us to clearly define our future, and do it together.
With the Strategic and Operational Plans derived from it, all the people and government and management structures had a powerful tool that allowed them, from our history as an institution, the analysis of the initial situation and of the jointly decided objectives, as well as from a shared future, to work on building a better University.
