How waiting lists work 2026
Once the results are known, if you have not been admitted to your first-choice degree program, you will be assigned a number on the waiting list. If you have been admitted to your second or subsequent choices, you must formally enroll within the deadlines indicated below to avoid losing your assigned place. Failure to do so will be understood as a withdrawal of your place.
How the 2026 Waiting
Lists Work All admissions calls are centralized at the Valencian Government (GVA) and are the same for all five public universities. You must confirm ONLY ONCE whether you wish to remain on the waiting lists during the following period: from Friday, July 10th to Wednesday, July 15th, 2026. The deadline for confirmation on the latter day, July 15th, is 2:00 PM.

Notice: If you do not confirm your place, the system will automatically remove you from the lists, and you will lose the opportunity to be admitted to the corresponding university degree programs. Students who have confirmed their continued presence on the waiting lists can cancel their participation in any degree programs by accessing the same university pre-registration website. The results of these successive allocations can also be consulted on the pre-registration platform: www.preinscripcion.gva.es
After the last joint allocation, the management of university degree program allocations will be handled directly by each university.
If you are already enrolled, you must cancel your initial enrollment before formalizing your enrollment in the new program assigned from the waiting list (if you do not request it, it will be canceled automatically), and you must do this as many times as you are admitted to a degree program that, in order of preference, is higher than the one assigned through pre-registration.
IF YOU HAVE SUBMITTED AN APPEAL REGARDING THE PRE-REGISTRATION RESULT, and it is accepted, the result may include:
• Degree programs on the waiting list. In this case, they are considered confirmed by default, and you may withdraw your application. Therefore, if you do not withdraw your application, you will be included in allocations after the date of publication of the resolution
• Assigned degree program. Contact the center to arrange registration.
