Appeals

The request to appeal a mark, after attending the exam review session and within a maximum period of 5 business days since the publication of the final exam results, can be made via the Online Office by presenting a written statement and attaching proof of attendance at the exam review session from the professor.

The Qualification Appeals Committee of the Faculty of Economics is comprised of eleven professors and three students. A decision with regards to the appeal will be provided within the time limits indicated in the Evaluation and Qualification Regulation (articles 20 and 21).

This decision is made after studying the student’s written statement, the documentation and the report requested from the teacher and the possible allegations presented by the student, and is based on:

  • Compliance with the content of the syllabus
  • Adherence to the evaluation guidelines indicated in the Teaching Guide
  • Respect for the principles of equality, merit and ability

Appeals requesting a second correction or correction by another professor cannot be accepted, given that “the professor of the subject is the technical body designated to carry out the evaluation of the exams and cannot be replaced or substituted by another body” according to the report of the Legal Counsel of the UV.

Request for teaching guides

Any individual who has had or has an open academic record in any degree offered by the faculty can request the subject programmes for the modules in their curriculum.
