Students can apply for the issuance of their degree through their Virtual Office.
The computer application allows the payment of the corresponding fees, as well as to request their delivery.

This procedure can also be done in person at the UV or through a duly authorised representative. The authorised person must provide the signed authorisation, a copy of his/her ID card and proof of his/her identity.

The withdrawal must be made in person, attaching ID or passport, at the Center where the studies were completed. For the withdrawal of the degree by third parties, the presentation of a power of attorney and a copy of the ID card of the interested party and the representative is required.

Only if authorised by a POWER OF ATTORNEY (document drawn up in the presence of a notary).
In the event that the interested party has studied on a campus other than that of the city of residence, he/she may request the delivery of the degree at any university. Residents in another town may request that the document be sent to the Provincial Directorate of Education and Science or to the Education Office of the Autonomous Community. Residents abroad may request delivery to the Consular Office closest to their place of residence, upon payment of the corresponding fees.

The student has a period of 5 years from the date of payment of the fees for the issuance of the degree to be collected from the corresponding Centre.

To obtain a duplicate of the degree in case of loss or deterioration of the original one, you must go to the corresponding Faculty where you finished your studies.
The request for a duplicate requires prior publication in the BOE (Official Spanish Gazette) of the loss of the degree (it must be published for one month) and payment of the corresponding fees.

The European Diploma Supplement (EDS) is the document that accompanies each official university diploma and is valid throughout the national territory, with unified information, personalised for each university graduate, on the studies undertaken, the results obtained, the professional skills acquired and the level of their qualification in the national higher education system. (Art.3, RD 1044/2003, of 1 August) The EDS is issued in three languages (Spanish, Valencian and English)

When requesting the university degree, the EDS is processed at the same time and the two are collected together.
