The assessment of the application forms will be done considering, at all times, the area of knowledge that addresses this doctoral studies, i.e., accounting and corporate finances. Specifically, the following criteria a weighting will be considered:
Curriculum vitae, up to 70%. The subjects directly linked to accounting and corporate finances are weighted with a 60%
against the rest of subjects which are weighted with a 40%.
High knowledge of English language, up to 15%
Interview, up to 15%. At the interview,(1) communication skills, (2) scientific interest for the area of accounting and corporate finance and (3) work team.


STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS
Regarding to entry systems and procedures adapted to students with special educational needs, the University of Valencia has the Unit for the Integration of People with Disabilities (UPD), which ensures the respect for the principle of equal opportunities and non discrimination and supports the collective of students with special educational needs. The “Service Charter” of this unit (http://upd.uv.es/index.php/cartaservicio.html), informs about quality commitments and rights and duties of users.
Likewise, and according to the Royal Decree 1892/2008, of 14 November, which regulates the conditions for accessing to official university undergraduate degrees and the admission procedures to Spanish public universities, the 5% of places available will be reserved for students who have a recognised disability of at least 33%, as well as for those students with permanent special educational needs associated with personal circumstances of disability, who during their previous academic life have needed resources and support for their full educational normalisation.


PART-TIME STUDENTS
Up to 30% of the places provided are reserved for those students who wish to take their studies in a part-time basis. The criteria and entry procedures are equivalent to those required to the rest of students. These students can switch to full-time modality if they request it, by writing to the Doctoral Studies Academic Coordinating Committee (CCD) under prior agreement of their Thesis Director (or tutor, where appropriate). Similarly, full-time students can request to the CCD switch to part-time modality, under prior agreement of their thesis Director (or tutor) . In both cases, the CCD may calculate the time needed by the doctoral student for completing his/her doctoral studies.
