The update of the "On do not publish" tool is now available. "On do not publish" is a guide to specifically help health researchers to prevent editorial fraud in open access journals, as we are talking about an area where publication fees are very high and therefore, fraud and predatory journals abound.
The 2022 update offers 45 new titles that had not been detected until now, from the open access blacklists that are updated (Beall and Kscien) and from the specialised literature.
The tool, in addition to offering a compilation of these frauds, makes it possible to monitor the behaviour of the so-called predatory journals and their publishers, by analysing their quality indicators, and the changes we detect in names, URLs, ISSN, etc.
