El pròxim 4 de desembre a les 12:30 tindrà lloc la conferència  “How to systematically create and read statistical graphs”, impartida de manera virtual pel Dr. Pablo Gómez, professor de la Universitat Skidmore (Nova York, EEUU).

Resum: This talk introduces how to creating and interpreting statistical graphs in R with ggplot2. We will build plots step by step, focusing on the essential building blocks and how they combine. Emphasis will be on making clear, effective figures and learning to “read” them critically. After the talk, students will be able to make their own graphs.

Bio: Pablo Gómez is Associate Professor of Psychology at Skidmore College (NY, USA). He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from Northwestern University His research focuses on perceptual decision-making, word recognition in monolingual and bilingual individuals, tactile perception, and computational modeling. His teaching includes courses in statistics and research methods.
