The phenomenon of 'cryptoginia' was first defined in 2020. This neologism, coined by Begonya Pozo and Carles Padilla (philologists and professors at the University of Valencia), has been translated into several languages and has made an essential contribution to the categorisation of all the actions that, over the centuries, have aligned to contribute to the concealment of women's contributions in any discipline. This research group brings together the knowledge of numerous researchers from various scientific fields and national and international institutions, with the aim of creating a complex, extensive, rigorous, enriching and flexible theoretical framework that allows us to address the works of women from any era and discipline, in order to adequately complete the cultural processes that, until now, we have only received in a partial form. The research generated by the group, focused on the gender perspective, will bring about change in educational institutions, contributing to the creation of more just and egalitarian social models.

• 1. Análisis de la producción discursiva y de las aportaciones científicas y culturales que mujeres de épocas y disciplinas diversas han realizado; a pesar de haber sufrido una ocultación sistemática dentro de la estructuras canónicas. 2. Revisión, ampliación y modificación de la herencia científico-cultural recibida a través de la incorporación del estudio de escrituras marginales que han sido menospreciadas a lo largo de distintas épocas y tradiciones culturales. 3. Difusión de la investigación académica mediante la conexión con los diversos agentes socioeducativos y culturales para garantizar tanto la transferencia del conocimiento como la incorporación de nuevas voces a los materiales de consulta y de enseñanza en todos los niveles educativos. 4. Garantizar, mediante el cumplimiento de los tres objetivos precedentes, una educación en igualdad dentro y fuera de nuestro sistema educativo para fomentar, a su vez, el cambio hacia una sociedad más justa e igualitaria.
