The training offer consists of seven training activities with the aim of preparing students to enter the working world quickly. All of the activities will be taught online through the Virtual Classroom of the UV.

This new edition of UVjob training courses, the employment service of the University of Valencia (UV), will deal with entrepreneurship, financial education, job searching, professional skills, business plans and personal branding. Similarly to the previous edition and as a protocol of prevention due to COVID-19, all activities will be taught online through the Virtual Classroom of the UV.

Registration is open at www.uv.es/uvocupaciocursos until the start date of each course or until all places are filled. In order to fulfil the objective of complementing the specific and technical knowledge of each of the University's degrees, the lecturers will propose, depending on the case, a series of resources, videoconferences, graded activities and questionnaires to be carried out throughout the course.

Besides providing university participation credits for the degrees, the workshops offer extensive training in tools and techniques for finding a job that matches the education received by the student.

“As usual, these courses are very useful for students. If they haven’t registered for other editions, they can do so now and improve their training abilities in employment”, said María Roncero, tenured professor of the UV and coordinator of the Training Area of UVjob. She also stressed that “the training offer is varied to ensure the employability of students. That is why we encourage you to check the full list of courses, which are also recognised with university participation credits”.

The workshops with the longest track record are “The success of entrepreneurship” (24th edition), “Tools for job searching” (30th edition), “Strategies for employability: curriculum analysis and selection processes” and “Professional skills for effective job performance” (both on their 27th editions).

Furthermore, some of the most innovative training courses are also available, such as “Financial education for employment and entrepreneurship for university students” (4th edition), “Personal branding and job search through social media” (7th edition) and “Design, development and presentation of a business plan” (10th edition).
