This group focuses on University Pedagogy, Lifelong Education and Sustainable Development. Its aim is to study the educational processes in these areas in order to build knowledge and to specify and apply proposals for improvement:
In University Pedagogy (analysis of teaching-learning processes at university, transition, failure and drop-out processes, study of the impact of innovative methodologies, design, application and evaluation of good practices, teaching competences, use of ICT in e-a processes, etc.).
In Education and Sustainability (curricular sustainability, analysis of the contents of university curricula, course guides, development of competences for sustainability, construction of models transferable to the different degrees, analysis and improvement of their approach in formal and non-formal education, etc.).
In Family and Minors (family educational styles and their evaluation, family diversity, parental competence, parental abuse by children, mediation of family conflicts, training in family intervention, etc.).

- Analisis de los procesos educativos en los ambitos aludidos para construir conocimiento y elaborar y aplicar propuestas de mejora
- Media literacy, ICTs and video games.The research in this line aims to analyse the educational use of ICTs and to analyse the keys to the construction of media citizenship. It also aims to study the use of video games in education and the use of serious games in complex environments.
- Citizenship and values.The line "Citizenship and values" refers to research on the civic and axiological dimension of education. It is based on the assumption that pedagogical research must necessarily include reflection and study of the world of values, attitudes and ethical thinking.
- University Pedagogy.This line deals with the analysis of teaching-learning processes at the university in order to make proposals for improvement and to implement and evaluate them, as far as possible. Likewise, good practices, the use of ICTs, transition processes, dropout and failure, etc.
- Education and Sustainability.Educational institutions and organisations can act as a platform for disseminating changes in perceptions, attitudes and behaviour towards new, more sustainable ways of living. The need to learn competences for the care of the community of life is advocated.
- Family and Minors.Investigating the educational processes that take place in the family and their influence on minors, delving into family diversity, parental competence, educational programmes, situations of risk and neglect of minors, working from a non-disciplinary perspective due to its complexity.
- Coexistence and conflict resolution.It approaches the learning of a model of coexistence, both at school and social level. It focuses on the development of people's autonomy and responsibility, employing as the basic technique the learning of social norms through democratic procedures.
