The Web and Marketing Unit (UWM), as the Unit responsible for Accessibility at the Universitat de València, carries out reviews of compliance with the accessibility requirements established at the design stage of websites and applications for mobile devices and, subsequently, at the implementation and publication stage.
When the website or application is put into operation, the UWM carries out periodic reviews of compliance with accessibility requirements in order to ensure that compliance is maintained over time.
In particular, UWM takes into account the case of content added or modified throughout the life cycle of websites, as well as technology updates and applications for mobile devices.
Accessibility reviews meet all requirements and take into account both automatic and expert manual review aspects. The results are presented in an accessibility review report.

UWM uses the revision models of the Spanish State Electronic Administration Portal. These reviews respect the minimum conditions required for in-depth reviews of a website or mobile application established by the European methodology.

UWM will certify compliance with the requirements of the Spanish Royal Decree 1112/2018 (not available in English) for websites and applications for mobile devices by a certification body whose technical competence has been formally recognised by the Entidad Nacional de Acreditación (ENAC, Spanish for National Accreditation Body) or by another national body in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 765/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 July 2008.

The first review of accessibility has been carried out in 2019 and in the case for mobile applications it will be done throughout 2020 and before 20 September 2021.
