Conference in Chiva on 10 February at Espai Jove. Business entrepreneurship and social economy. A movement of international dimension driving a specific space called Social Economy has been developed in recent decades. This involves a vision and a practice that defend the economy as a concept with different facets (production, funding, trade and consumption), as a means -and not as a purpose- to personal and community development.
The experience of recent years has shown that firms embedded in the principles of the Social Economy in its various forms play an important role in increasing the competitiveness and efficiency of the European economy in many different ways, but above all, represent an alternative to the prevailing economic model, from a processing perspective of society, promoting a more equitable, sustainable and participatory development.
